What We Are:

AMBUCS have fun while serving the community. Most of our projects directly benefit worthy recipients here in our community. 

WE ARE local business and professional leaders pitching in,  "Shoulders Together,"  to make it happen. 

The Kenowa Chapter of National AMBUCS, Inc. is a non-profit service organization consisting of a diverse group of men and women dedicated to creating mobility and independence for people with disabilities.

Kenowa Ambucs the First and Third Tuesday of each month at Sunnybrook Country Club, 624 Port Sheldon Road, Jenison, Michigan. We eat, enjoy the company of friends and business associates, and unless we are working on a project, we are presented with an entertaining program by community leaders, sports personalities, world travelers, business leaders, and a wide range of other interesting people.
The Social Committee plans a variety of social gatherings, usually includinge spouses, throughout the year, which may be seasonal parties, both formal and informal. These events give us an opportunity to know and appreciate the larger AMBUC family.
The most rewarding aspect of membership in AMBUCS is helping disabled persons achieve greater independence. We give away Amtrykes ®, provide home medical equipment to local citizens, , fund scholarships for students of physical and related therapies, and provide other valuable assistance to the community.
